Kids & Early Intervention

The earlier the right support starts, the more difference it makes. We help families take that first step with confidence.

Why Early Support Matters

Early childhood is a critical window for development, and early intervention is one of the most well-evidenced investments a family can make in a child’s future. We know this is also an area of real change in the NDIS right now, with the rollout of reforms like Thriving Kids reshaping how young children access support. Our team stays on top of these changes so families don’t have to navigate them alone.

How We Support Children and Families

  • Early support for children up to age nine, delivered through a multidisciplinary, family-centred approach.
  • Occupational therapy for fine motor skills, sensory processing, and everyday independence.
  • Speech pathology for early communication, language development, and social skills.
  • Physiotherapy for gross motor development and movement milestones.
  • Behaviour support strategies tailored to young children, delivered through parent and carer coaching.
  • Coordinated, team-based therapy, so your child’s therapists work from the same plan.
  • Support navigating early childhood NDIS pathways.

Working With Families

Parents and carers are the most consistent people in a child’s life, which is why so much of our early intervention work focuses on building your skills and confidence alongside your child’s.

How Sessions Work

Early intervention sessions often happen in the places children already spend time, home, childcare, or playgroups, alongside clinic-based sessions at Mount Druitt. Telehealth is also available for parent coaching and plan reviews.

NDIS Funding

Early intervention supports for children under nine are typically accessed through the NDIS early childhood approach. We can help you understand what’s available and how to access it.
